1.B.S. Degree in mechanical, metal-material, Electronic or other engineer background
2.Preferably with an emphasis on statistical methods and technical knowledge
3.At least two years working experience, experience in souring engineering is preferred in a foreign company environment.
4.Good knowledge of metal, Electronic material & production process
5.Proficiency in English and good computer skills
6.Understand ISO9000 and TQM
Technical/Functional Competencies:
-Familiar with production process and procedure
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Basic knowledge of cost calculation of company’s finance situation
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with others positively.
-Travel (20% -30%) time

Main Responsibilities
Responsible for selecting, developing, managing Electronic & Metal suppliers
1.Establish and maintain strong and competitive supply base,
2.Meet cost target as required by the markets on newly sourced items,
3.Continuously look for cost improvements opportunities on all sourced items,
4.Continuous assess supplier performance – monthly DPMO report, alert the supplier for improvements when needed,
5.Closely communicate with suppliers for continuous quality improvements,
6.Provide technical assistance to suppliers to avoid potential quality issues,
7.Work closely with Supply Chain to make sure that suppliers are making deliveries on time,
8.Closely communicate with suppliers and the project leader to resolve outstanding issues: packaging, quality, changes. Etc to avoid unnecessary delays,
9.Provide market intelligence for new developments in the region,
10.Identify suppliers who are carrying innovative products and designs, and develop close relationship so that it could be used for B & D when needed,
11.Maintain a strong supply base, especially with suppliers who are having strong technical capabilities.
12.;Any communication is replied to within 48 hours.
