KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Capable of managing all aspects of complex projects including timelines, budgets, personnel, interactions with supporting members from all areas of the company.
2. Highly proficient oral and written English language communication skills required. Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of management in multiple countries.
3. Bi-lingual English/Chinese (Mandarin) required. Additional language skills a plus.
4. Ability to sufficiently grasp and internalize complex abstract ideas, and effectively communicate those ideas to laymen and peer’s.

9. Experience in managing a warehouse as well as 3rd party warehouse operations.

11. SAP R/3 experience, especially in warehousing using both inventory management and warehouse management functions.
12. Must be able to travel up to 50%.
13. Advanced Proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Access, Excel, FrontPage, Word, Project, and Visio.
14. Must be of a legal/citizenship status that allows travel internationally on short notice to/from one or more of the following countries:

SOURCES OF KNOWLEDGE:
1. Master’s degree preferred in a technical or business field (Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience.
2. Project management experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of and experience with Import/Export Compliance and Regulations.
4. Previous 3PL management/warehouse management.

MAJOR SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary focus is on the performance, optimization and quality of the distribution and transportation activities related to delivery of our products to customers, to assure conformance to all standards, compliance and regulatory affairs.
1. Manage and ensure operational excellence and business activities of Littelfuse China distribution centers and 3PL’s/freight forwarders in Asia, in all aspects of performance (warehousing, inventory accuracy, transportation, import/export brokerage, etc.).
2. KPI development and monitoring to manage performance to standards.
3. Provide expertise, management, and support to Littelfuse managed Asian factory distribution centers.
4. Assist the Global team to standardize operations and implement policies.
5. Identify and recommend changes in the distribution network to improve service and cost.
6. Maintain, revising when necessary, detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in conjunction with the global team and in compliance with ISO/QS/TS requirements.
7. Leads region in developing quality programs, methods and/or systems that ensure problem identification, resolution and drives measurable continuous improvement, in conjunction with the global team.
8. P & L responsibilities, including planning and forecasting budgets, and managing within budget guidelines.
SECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide a resource for in-house consultancy to the Business Units for Supply Chain best practices.
2. Provide technical and operational support for logistics functions.
3. Support integration projects and company initiatives.
4. Develop supplier routing guides.
5. Develop KPI’s, identify and improve processes, and coordinate implementation of best practices.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR COST:
• Responsible for developing annual budgets for approval by Global Logistics Director.
• Must manage and direct assigned activities to achieve stated goals and objectives within established budgetary constraints.
• Effective prosecution of these job responsibilities will lead to significant favorable impact on cost efficient supply-chain operations overall.
